I am not a Biden supporter by any means, but in his defense this was going to happen no matter who pulled the trigger. When you invest over 16 years of training and over $80 billion dollars into an army that immeadiately deserts their jobs the second you leave, maybe just maybe they are insolvable problems in the country that no one can fix.



On the plus side, as always the memes from this have been great.

That's pretty sad. We could have purchased an island somewhere and shipped any Afghans who wanted out to it to live peacefully for that kind of money. Unrealistic... perhaps. But probably not any more so than actually "winning".

My opinion of the President's action is still harsh. The BBC in London continues to receive comments from NATO allies that no one was consulted before that poorly timed announcement from Biden.
