I'd be down for a KB Toys comeback. That was where I got Pokemon Silver... a day before it's scheduled launch.

Count me among those who have more memories of Kay Bee Toys than of Toys "R" Us, though I do think it would be great if both stores were able to somehow make a comeback.

Could it be? The KayBee Toys rumors are true? The toy Gods aren't so cruel after all!

Toys R Us's last day of operation is Friday. If mine is still open then, I will probably stop by.

The one where I live is still open, but a lot of shelves are empty, it's almost depressing. I was also going to pick up a Palutena amiibo they were selling for $3. Kind of bummed they were sold out by the time I was about to go for it.

They did have some Nickelodeon toys, mainly from their 90s Nicktoons. I am glad I picked up the 5 figure Ren and Stimpy set, especially now as we're probably not going to see anymore Ren and Stimpy toys being made anytime soon, considering Nickelodeon's looking to bury that franchise.

Well Friday is now over. So it's official.

Also, this is what the Toys R Us website now showcases when you visit it.

If you thought that was sad, our friends at Retro Con posted this on their social media.
