So the idea here is to let us know what style of video you want to provide for the 5th Anniversary Film Festival screening to celebrate the nostalgic fun we have here at Retro-Daze. Tony has given us so much entertainment in the theater over the years, now it is our turn.

Possible ideas for submissions could be a video skit featuring a favorite retro costume, a video tour of your retro collection or bring some favorite toys to life for an adventure. If you are more artistic, maybe a retro themed drawing or even an original song.

Once I have few people on board for this I will create a Google Drive folder to store the files in, so that I can edit it all together. You don't have to explain your idea in detail, just a basic concept is fine.

Preferred video formats would be MP4, .wmv, .avi

I'd probably just talk about my time with Retro-Daze, of course wearing the hoodie. 

Sounds good. For a big finale you should say, "I don't know" and have somebody slime you, Nickelodeon style.

I would love to participate in this! What I can come up with and what I'm actually capable of delivering are two very different categories, however. I just need some time to think it out. Out of curiosity, what's the deadline for submissions?

i'd pretty much have the same idea as tdith but i don't have a perfect time right now to record.

As far as a deadline goes, since we're already past the official 5th anniversary of December 2012, we have plenty of time to put this together for a celebration during the 5th year of the site.

If it's easier, maybe you could contribute by creating the official title screen art for the special in your signature style. It would be interesting seeing your interpretation of Dutch and Hamato Ninja kicking the Fifth Anniversary Film Festival or "FAFF" into high gear.

Sounds good! I finally have an idea, too. I'll be working on a montage of vhs clips...sort of a "greatest hits" collection that will include violent B-movies, wacky religious documentaries, cheesy instructional videos, and more!
