Maybe Capcom can make Captain N Mega Man make an appearance in a future game. Hey, they did it with Bad Boxart Mega Man in Street Fighter X Tekken. And bad boxart Mega Man was going to make an appearance in Mega Man Universe before that game got cancelled.

I don't think the artist who did this wanted to be famous. From what I heard, Capcom hired the artist to have it done by the next day. So the artist put together this artwork for six hours, not even having the time to know anything about the source material. Thus, giving us this bad artwork.

It may not look anything like it's supposed to, but forcing the artist to use their imagination by only having descriptions (and no reference materials, presumably) to go by results in these crazy and offbeat interpretations that you just can't come up with deliberately. The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

mega man with a handgun wasn't just in the american box art, he was also in the mega man 2 tiger electronic handheld and to make matters worse he had limited ammo.

They apparently didn't receive final sculpts of several characters, but instead went off of preliminary sketches and color schemes or early drafts of characters. So guys like Clawful, Faker, Trap Jaw, etc. ended up looking different than their figurine counterparts. You love this signature.
