I still think that a good way to handle Tony Stark would be for him to actually die, but not before he had fully backed up his consciousness into an advanced AI (this has sort of already been done in the MCU - albeit in a less advanced way - with Arnim Zola).

Then Disney can choose a new actor for Tony Stark, serving as a host body for the original's consciousness.

As for Cap, let him retire peacefully after having trained a successor, preferably Sebastian Stan's Bucky.
