Any chance it would be a super sized order?

Something like that.

Last night the family and I enjoyed a McDonald's Pizza. It was delightful.

Notice that there is no McDonald's logo or anything on the box? I'm guessing they stopped manufacturing that many years ago, but kept participating restaurants in touch with the ingredients suppliers, or something like that. I'm just speculating.

Are there any actual pizza places near you?

Yes. 2 of them. Within walking distance. Of... Rutland.

That's goofy I know. A village in the middle of nowhere with a population of about 400 people has not one, but 2 pizza places. And somehow they both survive.

There are an additional 4 pizza places in Pomeroy (the closest actual "town" to me at about 10 minutes away), which is also where the McDonald's is.

So yeah, there's plenty of pizza places.

Now if we could just get a Chick-Fil-A up in here!

More than even two pizzerias in a small town (which sounds really kind of nice) I find it curious that McDonald's continues to get demand for pizza, anywhere in this country. Did you get it for variety, or one stop shopping with some burgers, or...is it actually better pizza

McDonald's and pizza? I don't follow.

Well, believe it or not, we usually buy it because of the taste. It is actually some of the best tasting pizza (to our taste buds anyhow) we can get locally. A place called Gino's and Papa Johns are actually our favorites, but McDonald's is not far off. However, Papa Johns is in Gallipolis, which is a good 25 minutes away. So that leaves just Gino's and Fox's Pizza Den for us typically. I would prefer McDonald's over Fox's. I just wish you could get it in thin crust.

Also, pizza and fries make a surprisingly good combo.
