Perhaps it's a sign that I watch way too much television, but I was recently thinking about the fact that you could easily name dozens of fictional musical acts from television and movies. Do any of you have any favorites among them? For me, the Honeybees from Gilligan's Island stand head and shoulders above all others. Quote |

So far, we've all mentioned bands, but I'm going to switch things up by naming a fictional solo artist, Sugar Kane from Beach Blanket Bingo. Linda Evans didn't actually do the vocals in this, but it's still a catchy tune.
