There is no other Metroid-focused cartoon, show, or movie.

Samus did appear in the Captain N comic books published by Valiant as well as a manga comic, but as far as I can find has never appeared in any sort of motion picture. This isn't something vague or with sparse documentation. Is it possible you are thinking of something else? The Critters series of movies has a similar plot of bounty hunter protecting humanity from a dangerous alien species but taking caution not to cause its extinction. The Alien movies are also similar in tone and are believed by some to be an inspiration for the first game.

Finally, you keep referring to the protagonist with male pronouns. Is English not your first language, or are you somehow not aware that Samus is a woman, or what?

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

I was watching a talk show last night and some lady named Zelda was a guest. Mrs steak kind of elbowed me in the ribs and said "she's named after Zelda, from your games..."

"Oh yeah?" I said. "Is she?"

"I don't know," said Mrs steak. "But that would be funny."

As we watched the interview, I recalled reading somewhere that Robin Williams named his daughter Zelda, because he was, in fact, a fan of The Legend of. "That would make her name Zelda Williams," I thought to myself. "Oh, wait! Her name IS Zelda Williams! That's her! It's Robin Williams's daughter. Oh, so that's why they were talking about 'what happened to her father.' Ooh." In case you can't tell, we're not familiar with her work.

Anyway, I explained all that to Mrs steak and it actually was sort of funny after all.
