gonna help my mom out with some christmas dinner cooking tomorrow, then relax and watch some christmas movies. now that i think about it i never did see that super mario world christmas episode, y'know, the one where mario teaches the cavemen what the holiday is about?

i did have a few relatives over at the house and it was a usual family get together with them being around for longer than i thought. not much was going on after the dinner and a cousin of mine wanted to check out the games i had on my snes mini and we played a bit of super punch out and final fight.

It was a fine Christmas, thanks for asking Rick. 

well even though i had no spending money after the holidays i got a late present from my aunt in the form of a gift card. went out and bought the avatar: the last airbender series on blu ray.

Funny, I got Avatar: The Last Airbender on Blu Ray last christmas believe it or not. I had a pretty good day overall. I got a couple of video games, a brand new computer chair (I'm taking bets from everyone on how long this one will last), the book Edward Snowden wrote and a few gift cards. I think I'm going to use them to buy some new clothes. 

My uncle and grandmother came over for the day. It was good to catch up. We were discussing life, my sister's college plans as well as some other family related drama. My uncle brought up some fantastic cheesecake from a deli by him.

Unfortunately I found out on Christmas Eve that an old childhood friend lost his grandmother that day. I haven't seen or spoken to him in almost nine years but I am still friends with some of his family on Facebook. I felt super bad about it, especially since she died on a holiday. His grandfather also just died last year.
