I haven't really seen or made a post like this before, so I thought it would be interesting to hear about what went on with everyone throught the year in a nutshell.

As for me, I helped my parents get moved into a new house which they could finally afford all of their bills on, and we're living in a much quieter neighborhood than their previous one they were staying at. Unfortunately my grandma on my stepdad's side has been staying with us since then, and she needs antidepressants as a crutch to prevent mood swings, but we've been enduring it while we can.

My older brother got me a late late birthday present in the form of a gaming laptop, and I couldn't be happier about that, so I hope to pay him back for such a stellar gift.

Other than learning about one death after another on TV, especially ones caused by ISIS, it's been a pretty good year.

It started out good, but then the rug was pulled out from under me and I now hate it.

Personally 2016 has had it's ups and downs. Early in the year I lost my sister, and that was quite rough. As the year progressed, things got better. We began our home remodeling and have seen that come along nicely. We started the process of creating a new business (the frozen yogurt shop), and we had a very fun/interesting vacation together that was partially interrupted by a hurricane.

I am hoping 2017 is an improvement and goes on without any major negative life events.

I've come to find out that boring years are usually good ones.

Much like Vaporman, 2016 had it's ups and downs. Both school semesters were kind of rough, and I managed to find a summer job that is both slow paced boring and simultaneously fast paced stress filled at the same time.

However, I got to visit Philadelphia and meet other users of this site in person. I'm also in good health so I can't really complain much.

2016 was pretty good for me. I got to take some really nice trips like going to Germany and many other places. I liked it. The only downsides were me worrying about my job due to project issues but that turned around pretty quick once I found something else so all in all not that bad.

I got the Amazon experience this year!

It's become my new Wal-Mart.

Geez, I don't know what to tell you guys. My new job with the the State of Washington Education Dept. is going great and yet I watch in horror as the news media shows me a world gone crazy.

Needless to say, this is not the 21st century I imagined.

I've been more satisfied with my job than I have been in previous years, so 2016 has been a decent year for me.
