If all we do now is re-visit the 90's what does that mean for the future? Will we spend the 2020's surrounded by kids obsessing about stuff grandpa remembers? 

This would work if it were an Indiana Jones type of movie. Meaning that color/animal-themed teams competed for a priceless artifact in a more convincing temple, rather than just a game show set.

Ironic thing to say on a nostalgia site but I agree with you. It just seems like these days it's all a big cash grab saying "Hey remember that thing back when?" Plus most of my nostalgia isn't really tied to movies tv shows, and cartoons from back in the day. It's tied to experiences I had, places I went to, and people I knew. Stuff that just can't really be monetized by some studio suit or some corporate executive bringin' it back for them sweet juicy nostalgia dollars.

I think we can all say the same thing, for the most part. Much of the reason that the movies, TV shows, and products mean so much to us is the result of our experiences with them and the people we were with when we partook of the them. Also the experiences we had when those products and properties were in the public consciousness.

I'll give it a shot, they got Kurt Fog in it and I hope they get the VA for Olmec.
