A great contest showing this year. I'm happy I was able to take part. i missed out on the Halloween contest this time around. I, too, am excited to find out what the grand prize will be. I can remember looking through catalogs saying, "I get to pick one item from each page..now I get to pick one item from each spread..now I have to pick one item from the entire book." I still sometimes do that.

Great contest this year. Slow showing at first but a ton of good entries at the last minute.

Very true. Things were looking pretty bleak those last couple days. Then, suddenly, a bunch of great new submissions came in. That made it a real close contest.

From the 1983 Sears Catalog, the coveted Seiko M516.



With a carbon fiber case and voice recorder, the M516 was a futuristic
time piece that really stood out. Worn by the Ghostbusters and Ray
Bradbury, the M516 has a cool history.
