The magnificent Bart the Bear. He was a film actor staring in multiple
films with major stars like Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, John Candy, and
Dan Akroyd. He used to live on a ranch about 30 minutes from my house
with his trainer Doug Sues. Doug used to bring him into town in a horse
trailer to get an ice cream cone once in awhile. He was in films like
The Great Outdoors, The Bear, Legends of the Fall, and The Edge. He was a
Kodiak Brown Bear 9'6" tall and 1500+ lbs. He died in 2000 at the age
of 23. Doug also trained Bart 2. who has been in We Bought a Zoo with
Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, Game of Thrones, and Into the Wild.

He was in The Edge? Huh.
