One of the guys in my boy scout troop his family had one of those giant satellite dishes. Unfortunately I really only knew him from scouts and well he was aging out of it just as I was getting in. I would have felt awkward asking if I could come over and hang out at his place just to watch TV. I would have loved having one too but we didn't have that kind of money. Such a sin too, I would have loved to see what kind of weird crap you could find on there.

Exactly. You would pick up feeds from stations that would just be a set with nobody there. Just people talking quietly in the background for hours.
