I dunno, judging by some of my friend's romances, I think crushes were the safer route.

OK, I just remembered I also had a crush on a girl named Heather.  I wanted to marry her because she was the only girl who liked Nintendo, or at least as far as I knew. I thought we would get married and live in a mansion and play Super Mario 3 on a bigscreen TV.
