Musician/manager Michael Viner was asked to expand the music track to the 1972 movie, "The Thing with Two Heads". Michael was able to draw upon his entertainment connections to assemble an amazing group of musicians from around the country, many he had worked with earlier in an attempt to form a band. The result was an idea for a new kind of band which Michael called, "The Incredible Bongo Band". And the best part is you guys have actually heard this band before, and I can prove it. The Incredible Bongo Band - "Apache" - 1973: Strange - I've never noticed the music in "The Thing with Two Heads", lol! |

I know what you're thinking: "I agree with the name 'Blow Up Hollywood'!" "Magic can happen to you."

"Even though I'm cheating like a btard, this is still surprisingly hard" - Ross Scott.

My thanks to the BBC's "Arts Hour on Tour", the traveling music show that broadcasts from a different country each month - (for July the show is in South Korea), for helping me spell the band's name correctly, lol.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p016tmg0 The band is named, Hyukoh, and you pronounce it like, "Hugo". You can imagine the trouble I had finding the band on YouTube. The band is named after the lead singer, Oh Hyuk, by reversing the order of his first and last name. The four young men who make up the band were featured on a South Korean talent show in 2015 and became an overnight sensation across the country. |
