Got my daughter moved into her college dorm today. And I was fine… until I got home. And I’m now a mess. And for reasons I’m not clear on I need to just tell that to the world. So… there.

I'm guessing some kind of shoot out happened.

I'm afraid to ask what happened.

Whatever happened, you are in my thoughts and prayers Vaporman.

I believe he's referring to the realization his daughter is just about grown up. 

It's always tough for the parents when their child is leaving the nest.

I went to Atlanta this past week to spend time with family on vacation. I went to an Atlanta Braves game, The World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium and had a blast at every one of 'em! The only flaws were dealing with traffic and getting lost on the road. Other than that, great times were had by all. I also went to Athens to visit the University of Georgia campus. A short trip there, but a good one. I went to Madison, GA to see the flea market and some antique stores. Scored some neat loot. We had lunch at a place called Amici. They make a great supreme pizza there  called The Works. Yum! I hope to visit Six Flags White Water one day in Marietta. I know that'll be great! Overall, a fun, safe trip. Looking forward to another  great week-long vaction in the future!

Fun fact - Friday the 13th remains the luckiest day overall in my life. Job offers, loan approvals, even exam results; always good fortune for me on Friday the 13th. Jason stopped by - he said "hi".
