I think the actress playing the older lady in the trailer is the only returning cast member. This trailer didn't impress me... it felt pretty cheap and unoriginal.

The actress coming back is better than nothing, I guess. About the only reason to see the movie.

A Halloween TV series is coming.

I feel just like Dr. Loomis at the end of the 4th movie.

I'm still a fan of "Poltergeist: The Legacy:, TV series from 1996.

The only episode I remember is the one with the Undertaker.

If you ever wanted to play 90s era FPS games that ran on DOS in VR like Duke Nukem 3D and Redneck Rampage, it seems that Quest 2 and 3 users are in like to scratch that itch.

A Halloween TV series is fine if it's an anthology series and not all about Michael Myers.

I think John Carpenter mentioned in an interview that after the original, he didn't want to do another movie featuring Michael Myers. Then what's with the ending?

Anyway, he said he wanted to give the film series a Twilight Zone feel. An anthology. Which would explain Season of the Witch.
