I think people actually wanted to see a good IT remake, but apparently the studio tried desperately to avoid that.

My kids being the huge DanTDM fans that they are, we decided to book tickets to his showing tomorrow in Akron Ohio (he's here in the States on tour). Made sure to get them the Meet & Greet tickets so they can meet him up close. They're very excited. Me... I don't get it. But hey, I'm old.

Weeks ago I made the decision to finally try and beat the video game Star Fox Adventures once and for all. After reaching 86% completion, I've decided to officially give up. Up until this point, I ran into several obstacles that I almost gave up on and nearly quit, but I managed to find a way each time, either through cheating, multiple attempts or glitches in the game. However, I can't get past the stupid color-coded water puzzle in the second trip to the Ocean Force Point Temple. The Fire Blaster that has to be used to do this is an absolute pain in the ass to operate because it can't stand still.

if the game would have become dinosaur planet like rareware intended i would have played it then. but seeing fox talking to a scrappy-doo like dinosaur just didn't cut it for me. and using him to solve puzzles and escort him made the experience even worse.
