When I was a kid I had some books about the church cat. Well, they were usually named after the mice, but the cat was the real star to me. After all, there were dozens of mice and only one cat. And the church cat was reformed, and he would not eat mice any more--although sometimes he was tempted. The stories are great, and every page is beautifully illustrated.
