Our resident site wizard, Moudy, will be working to add a new option for you article writers. A new option that will allow you to choose your own background color (as suggested by master writer, vkimo ). So if you are still working on something now, this notice will give you the choice of waiting until you can choose your own color, if you desire to.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. This will be a great feature. The reason I did my whole Halloween article in Photoshop was because I wanted the black background so this feature will save me a ton of time.

The feature seems to be working well now. The only thing I've noticed is that once you have chosen a color and saved your article as a draft, you cannot change that color. You can change to another theme, but just not the color. Keep that in mind.

I was on early this morning and saw published test articles that were blank. Even commented on one, but it's gone now.

custom article borders would be nice too. i felt a little left out seeing that vkimo managed to make his own for his halloween article when i don't have any knowledge or patience of making my own to come out looking perfect.

?? It's just Photoshop.

Yeah, vkimo created that whole article in Photoshop. Then he just posted it into an article as a single image. It looked amazing and was an awesome read.

The only down side is that the content won't get found by any search engines (which means more views/reads for the author). Unless somebody is looking specifically for images and it happens to pop up there.

It was a ton of work and I really enjoyed the creative freedom it gave me, but I probably won't do another purely done Photoshop Jpeg article. With this new background feature I really don't have to.
