4379Chat rooms or message boards?well i used to use the IM chatrooms on AOL but then things started to get a little weird when random people would send me requests, even sexually confused people
BenjanimeOct 18, 2013View
4378Chat rooms or message boards?
In the 90's I used chat almost exclusively. Now, it's only the message boards that I use (except the rare Facebook chat and in the Theater's chatbox).
Vaporman87Oct 18, 2013View

4375Chat rooms or message boards?I prefer message boards myself. I don't go to chat rooms as much as I used to. Part of the reason is because when I tried thinking of what to say, some of the people I've chatted with tended to get impatient. With message boards, I have all the time in the world to post what I want to say.
Mr MagicOct 18, 2013View

4370Virtual Console ThursdaysThe RetroDaze Halloween special was a good watch, and I had a lot of fun being there for the hour and a half... even after the player crashed for a few people there. LOL.

But now, it's time to look at this week's Virtual Console releases. It's the week of 10/17/2013, so let's see what we got.

Wii U Virtual Console:

Clu Clu Land (NES)
$4.99

Urban Champion (NES)
$4.99

3DS Virtual Console:

Pinball: Revenge of the Gator (GB)
$2.99

Overall, this week has been an improvement over the crappy sports NES titles they released on the Wii U. I might consider getting Clu Clu Land on there as I've had fond memories of playing that one. Although, I had a lot more fun with the japanese-only Famicom Disc System, sequel, Welcome to New Clu Clu Land. I game that I had unlocked on Animal Crossing for Gamecube.

Still, I wish Nintendo of America would put out better titles. Countries like Europe and Japan both have a much better Virtual Console selection both in Europe and Japan. Not to mention Revenge of the Gator has been out in Japan at the beginning of January, while Europe got it last month. Boo! It also doesn't help when games like Urban Champion are not even worth the $5 they charge. In fact, I think with that and these crappy NES sports titles, they should be more around the price they charged the Game Boy Pinball title.

Also, a reminder that Yoshi's Cookie is going to be pulled from the Wii Virtual Console tomorrow. Those who haven't purchased it on the Wii, now is your last chance, because after that, it will be gone for good.blueluigiOct 18, 2013View
