12138What franchise do you want to see come back to your town? For me it's all about Swensen's Ice Cream Shop. That was the place we went to as a family growing up and for my birthday party each year we would copy their dessert design to create homemade "Mr. San Fancisco" ice cream treats (basically one scoop of ice cream with a cone for a hat and gumball eyes, then you decorated it with whatever additional candy you felt like). When they closed the location in Costa Mesa, CA I was bummed. 10 years later a smaller one opened up in a strip mall and I had to personally teach the teenage staff how to make a Mr. San Francisco from their official handbook, but it wasn't the same.

When I moved to Arizona I happened to move to the city with the only surviving location in the state! I celebrated several birthdays at Swensen's AZ and even took my wife there for Halloween 2011 when we were dating (see above). I hadn't been for about a year and when we tried to stop by on 4th of July this year we found it was boarded up with the sign removed. Bring back Swensen's! Anybody else know what I'm talking about?

Hoju KoolanderOct 07, 2014View
12137What franchise do you want to see come back to your town?I'd love to have a Cici's Pizza back in town, I could eat about eight of those pizzas. I'm pretty sure I've done it before too.

If I remember correctly, one of the flavors was apple cinnamon. That was pretty good. I miss how the employees yell "Welcome to Cici's!!!" when you walk through the door.
Mr MagicOct 07, 2014View
12136Point Values as of 10/21/2014Not necessarily. Most generally I select articles that are at least a 7, but it's not a necessity. It can also depend on the article itself and how likely it might be that it would interest a guest to the site, or appeal to Google searches in a unique way. But if an article just seems to really be doing well, I'll put it up there because it is popular among us.
Vaporman87Oct 07, 2014View

12133Twin Peaks Returns I mentioned it before but I've tried on several different occasions to get through the entire thing. It's a great show but gets a little weird.
vkimoOct 07, 2014View
12132Halloween Nostalgia & More!I've been collecting a lot of current toy lines. I just haven't bought any toys recently cause I'm strapped for cash. I was collecting Squinkies from the blind bags. Mini Lalaloopsies, Blind bag My Little Ponies, and Shopkins. Shopkins are like the new hot collectable. They are Kawaii (cute) groceries. And Winx Club merchandise, but I've been into to the Winx Club since I was 20.
pikachuloverOct 07, 2014View
