51288Share my Birthday Gift<p>Kinda sad to realize that by the time I was born in 1957 the MGM Animation Studio had already shut their doors, and a lot of talented people were “available”.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>But William Hanna and Joe Barbera were good businessmen and ushered all their resources and connections within the industry to setup their own operation in that new startup medium called television.</p><figure class="image"><img style="aspect-ratio:295/402;" src="https://i.pinimg.com/736x/bf/5f/e4/bf5fe411e72dd1769e5d902467b0d86b.jpg" width="295" height="402"></figure><p>Their first TV production was an instant hit - “Ruff and Reddy” took-off with sponsors and provided the financial fuel to fund other TV shows.
