3045 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @Vaporman87 Empty Haunted Bathroom? That's a pretty awesome fear right there. @echidna64 Of course as a kid you'd never think of the obvious solution: Take the trash out in daylight. @comic_book_fan What finally convinced you that your family weren't aliens? It's very possible they just used a mind control ray on you and are still plotting to take over the Earth. | Oct 29, 2015
3046 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Speaking of Rifftrax, did you ever see John Mikl Thor's other direct to video outing "Zombie Nightmare" co-starring Adam West and Tia Carrere from Wayne's World? It was riffed by the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew on an episode. He's a baseball playing "hero" who gets killed and then resurrected as a Zombie. Oh and "Ace of Spades" by Motorhead is the opening theme. It's pretty fantastic. | Heavy Metal-Sploitation Part 3 | Oct 29, 2015
3047 | Article | Hoju Koolander | It was crazy to realize that from the Nintendo page on down, I had at least one item featured on every page at some point in my youth. Now most of it came second hand from garage sales as opposed to Christmas morning, but I totally played with most everything featured. My favorite was definitely the WWF toys, owning that ring was a dream come true. I love that there was a generic carrying case for the Masters of the Universe figures, like Sears wouldn't splurge to carry the official one. | The OTHER Good Thing About October | Oct 29, 2015
3088 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @NLogan Yeah, totally aware of this and have always appreciated the fact that they really created poster art that could have been used for the theoretical film. There's also the "announcement" by Donner, Feldman and Astin that the real sequel is in the works, but we shall see. | Top 5 80's Movie Sequels | Nov 06, 2015
3099 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Very thorough story. I had a great affection for the Warner Bros. Studio Store as well. They were the only place with a dedicated super hero section, so I was always up for that. Suncoast was also a favorite, so many weird and previously unknown videos to discover. | Memories of the Nanuet Mall | Nov 11, 2015
3100 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Just in case you've been waiting for The Goonies 2 episode of the SequelQuest podcast, which was delayed for technical reasons, you can listen now at this link http://sequelquestpod.com/2015/11/11/the-goonies-meet-bigfoot/ Enjoy! | Top 5 80's Movie Sequels | Nov 11, 2015
3102 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Great picks. Sleepwalker always takes me back, he just defines generic 90's Marvel characters so perfectly for me. Plus, he looks like a generic Halloween costume someone just threw together at the last minute. "Alien mask, Mom's purple scarf, my old sweats, I'm good to go!" | My Top 5 Halloween Ready Super Heroes | Nov 12, 2015
3133 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I think we all had that moment of stealing from as store, but it's always worse when you know the person. | Confessions: The Snack Burglar | Nov 26, 2015
3190 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @NLogan The Gremlins tree was totally in the running, but didn't quite fit the "spreading holiday cheer" vibe I was going for. Totally could have put Corey wearing his costume in there though. Nice one! @MissM, I hope you have fun catching up. I have been enjoying your podcasting appearances. | 5 Most Iconic Movie Christmas Trees | Dec 12, 2015
3219 | Article | Hoju Koolander | I think more kids should get the gift of stilts. Pogo sticks and unicycles are so played out, only the truly original choose stilts. Seriously, that's awesome. | Retro Christmas Presents | Dec 14, 2015 |
