3363 | Article | pikachulover | I definitely remember getting a few Ninja Turtles ones. I also got California Raisins, Berenstain Bears, Nerds and Garfield. When I first went to school I used to give really girly Valentines like Care Bears and Minnie Mouse. Then I moved onto ones for boys and girls like Chipmunks, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs and Rugrats. I liked getting sports themed Valentines they were something different. I remember getting NFL ones. | Feb 14, 2016
3374 | Article | pikachulover | The relatives who did that to me were sneaky, and did when my parents weren't looking. Once my parents had found out I had already given it away. I did complain about it to my mom though. | The Purse | Feb 19, 2016
3379 | Article | pikachulover | I was a huge fan of SSSS. It was so wacky and low budget. I even had a small Servo figure. Syd was my favorite character. I used to say my little cousin acted like Tanker. Too bad hardly anybody in my 5th grade watched the show. By 6th grade at my school it was "uncool" to like any of those shows. Actually there was a double standard in 5th grade about those shows it was ok for boys to like them, but not girls because they were too "mature" to like them. | Mighty Morphin Ripoff Rangers Part 1 | Feb 23, 2016
3380 | Article | pikachulover | My mom and some of my other relatives just felt Sanrio items were just over priced versions of cheaper items. | The Purse | Feb 23, 2016
3457 | Article | pikachulover | I had some neighbors who would try to prank call me. I remember once they told me they had "Kimberly from the Power Rangers" on the phone. She didn't sound like Kimberly. She sounded like somebody with a cold. Then they said it was just my neighbor's friend who I didn't know named Kimberly who owned cheap inline skates. Which my neighbor just threw in there into the conversation. | Old School Phones: Mystery Callers | Mar 16, 2016
3458 | Article | pikachulover | The thing about the Flair vs HBK match was that they made it work because they are both good story tellers in the ring. | My Favorite WrestleMania Matches of All Time | Mar 16, 2016
3478 | Article | pikachulover | Actually VR Toopers was supposed to be called Cybertron with Jason David Frank in the lead role. But he was so popular on Power Rangers they went in a different direction with the show. Another thing about that show was that they used Japanese footage from 2 different shows. So that is why the 3 of them never teamed up together. I watched the show for a month or 2, but I could not get into it. My little cousin who my mom would baby sit and was a toddler at the time loved the talking dog. I tried to like Beetleborgs, but by the time that show came out I was in 7th grade. It was not cool to like those shows by then. I heard a rumor that Flabber is supposed to be Elvis and Jay Leno combined. My cousin was an extra in one of the episodes. I think she was in the background in one of the town scenes. I forget which episode she was in. | Mighty Morphin Ripoff Rangers Part 2 | Mar 23, 2016
3495 | Article | pikachulover | I loved Eggums! I used keep the little cartons and put them in my toy fridge. The cartons were also good for molding playdoh. i think they still sell them, but they don't taste the same. I would usually get 2 baskets a generic store bought one and one that my parents put together. Sometimes I would get a new dress and then they would take my to get my picture taken at the photo studio. | 80's Easter memories | Mar 28, 2016
3773 | Article | pikachulover | My family consumes massive amounts of Crunch n Munch. I remember getting some of those trading cards. I found them a few years ago. | Marvel Comics Food Ads of the 90's | Feb 23, 2017
3811 | Article | pikachulover | I definitely remember the Hi-c promotion. I used to have a bunch of the profiles cut out of the drink boxes. I few years later I threw them out because I thought the X-Men was childish or something. I think I have the hero caps some where. I remember getting a Rogue one. I think I had to convince my parents to get me that particular size packaging of Hi-C. They would usually get me the 3 packs to take in my lunch. I was already a regular drinker of Hi-C. | 90's X-Men Food Ads | Mar 30, 2017 |
