| Article | kronohs | Great read. It brings out some of the same feelings I get at this time of year. | Sep 24, 2015
| Article | Dravenkid7 | these also do gaming tournaments and events. Jacksonville is pretty huge but everyone loves this place. I lost when i played against a guy in the arcade but I didn't care. I was stoked just to play in a real arcade again. | Rescued By A Fistful of Quarters | Sep 25, 2015
| Article | onipar | I'm glad, Kronohs! I was hoping I'd elicit some of the Halloween tingles for everyone :-) | Forever Living in Halloween | Sep 25, 2015
| Article | kidcoffee | You've cranked the Halloween feels to eleven. Great read, sir. | Forever Living in Halloween | Sep 25, 2015

| Article | Vaporman87 | The most memorable homemade costume I came up with on my own was a basic monster costume, with a plaid shirt and jeans, some gloves that looked like monster hands, and the real star of the getup... a pricey monster mask with light up eyes! I had purchased the mask some weeks earlier for a very pretty penny, and I was very excited to wow the neighborhood with it. The only problem... it was EXTREMELY difficult to see anything. The light up eyes had slits below them for my REAL eyes. This didn't offer a very good view of things, especially with darkness setting in. So in between houses I would have to raise up my mask so I could see where I was going. Other than that issue, the costume was a real success. I wish I would have kept that mask. It was such a great one for the time. | Making My Own Halloween Costume | Sep 29, 2015
| Article | Vaporman87 | Apparently word spread pretty quickly that yours was the house to hit for the really good score. LOL I always knew which houses in my neighborhood would be the ones that really gave "the good stuff". Those places that spared no expense and gave you the full size candy bar, or the pre-made baggies full of various goodies. I also knew which places would skimp, or give you something truly lame. I would usually stop at those places anyway, just to pad the stats and make the whole trip "complete". It always equaled out in the end, and I was typically left with candy I never got around to eating for fear of making myself sick with it. | We Got the Good Stuff | Sep 29, 2015
| Article | pikachulover | That neighborhood I lived in didn't really give out good candy. My family has a rule that the candy we give away we have to like in case we get stuck with it. My house wasn't even giving out full size bars just the fun size ones. | We Got the Good Stuff | Sep 29, 2015
| Article | onipar | HA, once people know you've got the good stuff, they tell their friends! :-) Great story. I liked hearing about the different costumes too. | We Got the Good Stuff | Sep 29, 2015
| Article | echidna64 | Best costume I ever made was from a couple years ago. I sewed together a ghost costume for a Deamau5 concert on Halloween; I even gave it a matching Space Invaders tattoo from the music video "Ghosts N Stuff." | Making My Own Halloween Costume | Sep 29, 2015 |
