3682ArticleHoju KoolanderI can't imagine a more comprehensive look at retro cereals. The Ghostbusters and TMNT brands especially bring back memories of walking through the grocery store aisles. I never knew those Batman comics were offered through the cereal. I got mine as part of the dramatized book and tape sets, which are fantastic. Love that shot of your collection at the end. So is RJ classics a method now of revising old RetroJunk articles being pioneered by NLogan? Or is this a longstanding trend I somehow missed?Saturday Morning CerealsJan 14, 2017View
3681ArticleNLoganThanks Old School! I am much like you and also liked most of the things you mentioned. This article is part of a 6 part series. In the sixth part I get around to the non-marvel stuff. Make Mine Marvel 1Jan 13, 2017View
3680ArticleOldSchool80sNice piece that I could relate to quite a bit. I have always been partial to Marvel as well, but at the same time have never been anti-DC. I liked Super Friends and the JLA. I liked the old Batman TV show and then the Tim Burton Batman of 1989. But Marvel has always been my true love. The Avengers have always been my favorite and I love what they have done with them in movies now. I could go on and on with my own memories of growing up with Marvel, but I will just end it with Excelsior.Make Mine Marvel 1Jan 13, 2017View
3679ArticleNLoganIn 1998 I had a black Space Jam long sleeved shirt. It had the Tune Squad on it with Bugs,Wile E. Coyote, and the Tazmanian Devil with Space Jam written on the sleeves. I also had a Marvin the Martian ball-cap. <img src="/images/postImages/1484176697spacejam.jpg" height="377" width="251"> Bugs Bunny 50th Anniversary MagazineJan 11, 2017View
3677ArticleVaporman87I can't imagine a more thorough list of cereals that any kid would want to choose from on a Saturday morning! I would reach for almost any of these as a kid (except maybe some of the healthier fare). I REALLY want one of those Masters of the Universe fuzzy iron-ons (because one of the characters is ROBOTO!). I have right now in my possession one or two of those Sugar Bear Christmas plushes. I had them for use in one of the Christmas Goodie Packs but didn't use them. I actually did not know they made noise upon squeezing them. I'll have to try them to see if they still work. Saturday Morning CerealsJan 11, 2017View
3676ArticleNLoganI can still hear the music from Marble Madness looking at the levels, and feel the frustration. That game was murder hard.Failed 90's Video Game Console WarsJan 11, 2017View

3674ArticleNLoganI love me some metal lunchbox goodness. I have Universal Monsters, Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Dragon's Lair, and Peanuts. My brother has Secret of Nimh and a few others. There is an Imperial Mummy figure in the pictures with the Dick Tracy stuff. My antique stores around here never get cool stuff like that.Antique Store Finds Part 1Jan 07, 2017View
