3272ArticleHoju KoolanderThat's awesome that your Dad recorded your songs with you. My son is guitar obsessed and always wants me to play my original songs for him. I can only imagine he'll be penning his own tunes soon. My Favorite Christmas Gifts As A Kid in the 80s & 90sJan 12, 2016View
4475ArticleHoju KoolanderThat's awesome that you got to hear your parent's tales of work and romance at Disney during the trip, I look forward to being able to sharing my time in the character department as I walk through Disneyland with my kids when they are older. Sorry you had a rough experience as a kid, but that Prime Time Cafe would have been a dream for me. I love themed restaurants where the staff are in character and play out scenes with you. Heck, I'd like to work at one!Disney Days: My Trips to Walt Disney WorldJun 19, 2018View
5588ArticleVaporman87That's awesome that there is a restored new version being released. It seems there are several companies out there buying up retro properties that were maybe not large scale hits, but have enough of a following to warrant new merch. I recently saw that the folks behind the "Toys That Made Us" series are rereleasing Robo Force? I rest my case. LOLRemembering The Omega VirusJan 20, 2022View

1173ArticleVaporman87That's awesome Mike. I've watched Summers perform on Food Network over the years, and he does exceptional work wherever he goes. I also learned of his battle with OCD, and could sympathize with him as I too was diagnosed with it. Double Dare was just one of those shows that truly went from just another game show to legendary status. The production quality of the show was always top notch, and Summers himself made it worth the watch. Not to mention it was great for kids to have a game show of their own that really did well in the ratings. Great article Mike. Thanks for this.I Double Dare You to Be Physically ActiveJul 16, 2014View
1674ArticleVaporman87That's awesome Barry. There are so many specials that have come and gone and have been all but forgotten. I tried coming up with a few of them as part of the clips shown in the RetroDaze Halloween Special. I'll have to dig up some more for next year. If you can, maybe PM me some names of some specials or Halloween episodes of shows that would be good to use. What To Watch on ChristmasDec 17, 2014View
1853ArticleVaporman87That's an awesome trip Hoju. I know that Universal in Orlando had many of the same attractions you spoke of here, and I got to see many of them over the years. I haven't been to Universal Studios in Orlando for nearly 14 years. I'm sure much has changed since then. This year, the kids are big enough to ride some of what Universal and Islands of Adventure has to offer, so we have pre-purchased tickets for both, in addition to our usual Disney stops. We'll be leaving late in February, so I'll keep you up to speed on all the new stuff.Universal Studios Hollywood '92Jan 30, 2015View
