I loved the 80s

I agree with you on loving the 90s. I was born in 1986 so I'm right there with you. I love the music from the 90's. It all sounded different. Each artist had their own sound and it was amazing. I miss SNICK. I used to watch it every Saturday night. Hands down happy that Nick bought the Splat around. Those were the days.

I loved everything in this article except the jeans, and good thing that Nickelodeon is having yet another 90s block soon, so safe to say that there are some good in the new millennium, even if it's a revival, but yeah, SNICK will always be in my heart :)

I miss Doritos 3D so much, they were the best. I used to buy body glitter at Claire's and put it everywhere xD I had a grape one that I was obsessed with. I miss being able to shamelessly cover myself in glitter.

Congrats on your first article! I hope you'll continue to submit; this was great! While I can't relate to the fashion stuff, I will wholeheartedly get behind you when it comes to SNICK. I LOVED it! That was probably the first "block" of shows I ever watched, without fail, every single week (except maybe Saturday morning cartoons).

I think a lot of the 90s trends are making a comeback (the tattoo chockers, etc.). Some of them I'd still wear today, but some.. not so much, haha. I'm really hoping the excessively wide legged jeans do not make a comeback. My most dreaded aspect of that time period, is when my mother would perm my hair. I rocked the curly hair for so long, that I think my hair permanently became curly. It's still wavy to this day, but it was straight before she permed it.

Nice reference to hair combs. Those were so big in the 90s and a bunch of girls wore those at my high school. I personally never wore those though.
I used to buy massive amounts of body glitter, but I didn't use it on my body. I would always put it in my hair. I liked the glitter that game in a roller ball applicator like perfume or lip gloss.

I think the fashion mistake that I am most haunted by came in the 90's with my love of always wearing pleated, whitewashed jeans. Yeah, they were pretty dreadful. Sometimes they even had the band at the bottom of the legs that made them wrap tightly around your ankle, like a pair of sweatpants. Given what I see people wearing nowadays though, it wouldn't surprise me if some version of this became popular.
