when i was in my early teens i was helping my stepdad for a day in cleaning hotel rooms and hallways. one of the residents had a daughter that owned one of these sets, but she has high functioning autism. though the tapes are about learning new languages, the girl took interest in watching them, as she also had a few tapes of veggie tales.

In first grade my school bought several sets of Muzzy and we'd watch it as part of our Spanish lesson. It remembering freaking out, because I saw the commercial all the time but never actually saw the product to buy. It was like magic or something.

I have EXTREMELY vague memories of it. Like, I probably saw it, but can't say for sure.
THIS however, is ingrained in my brain forever due to the frequency of it's airing... You love this signature.

It was on Nickelodeon a lot during the 90's.

Whoa is that the first commercial with a snotty kid who's supposed to be cool with all his cynical eye-rolling and know-it-all quips? I thought that was a recent trend but I guess not. How about that outfit? |

Ohhh... yes. Out of all the commercials I've seen on TV as a kid, this is one I most vividly remember as a kid because of how often it came up and how many years it went on for. That, and the Skip-It commercial. I also remember sometime afterwards, there were a few other commercials made for Muzzy... one of which, looked back at this commercial and took the viewers to the present.

It's kind of a shame my Spanish teacher in elementary school never gave us the Muzzy experience.

I really remember that commercial. I think that it was still shown in the 2000's.
