Great movie, i finally got it on dvd a few weeks ago.

Awesome movie I loved as a kid but probably couldn't watch even one more time. I loved how when you thought it was all over there was still one more huge action sequence. Wasn't there a sequel on a cruise liner? I seem to remember Sandra Bullock being in it, but not Keanu.

Yes, but like most sequels, this one failed.

I had my copy for a few years now.

This one is on the list for movies we will cover this year on the podcast - I love that it introduced the line (as far as I know) "Pop quiz hot shot!" into pop culture 

I recall back in 1998, while on our family cruise (the one and only cruise I have ever been on), we stopped at an island that had been a filming location for Speed 2. You could still see the front of the cruise liner that had been built along the walkway between the water and the town. That was neat.

Never saw Cruise Control. Don't have a desire to.
