I... want... to... see... this.
You know, not a lot of people outside of comic book fans know who these guys are. I happened to be one who picked up the first issue of the comic back in ye olden days (and the first issue of Rocket Raccoon also), so I'm familiar with them. However, I could never really get into them. But I'm liking the casting and direction of this film, as seen in this trailer. Intriguing...

I liked the Captain America movie and Avengers movie, so what's not to like about this?

I think you hit the nail on the head about only people in the comic book world knowing about this. Then again for a people who never read comics, only shows that got cartoon were basically known to be comic derived.
I think if I would have known about this from beforehand, I would have been more excited. But for me it just looks like a bunch of made up (Yes, I used made up when referring to comic book characters) heroes. Looks fun though, I dig the song choice during the trailer. Cool seeing Batista in it as well. I think though this is the second iteration of the Guardians, the first being introduced in the 60s. |

I'm just bored of super hero movies, so i'll skip this.
The last one that i liked was punisher: warzone. |

No comic book superfan will be 100% satisfied if the movie isn't like the comic book.

I know I said this on a different thread I'll just post what I said there on here just in case no one sees it on the thread I put it on.
Saw Guardians of the Galaxy. I loved it. It's truly a fun movie. Though if you have little kids I'd recommend you get a babysitter cause this takes full advantage of the PG-13 rating and even skirts around from getting a R rating with messing with the censors kind of like how Rocko's modern life did. But for older kids near that 13 age range I'd say take em to see it. Some of the jokes will go over their heads. But the jokes were written and acted beautify. The action was great. They went more of an action comedy route for it. Also there are 2 after credit scenes I highly recommend you stay for them both. The last one has me in tears from laughing so hard. |
