When you were a kid, what were things you regret spending your allowance on?

Hmmm. Anything edible. For reasons that should be obvious.

i rarely got any allowance as a kid, but i really regret getting clayfighter 63 1/3 from the bargain bin at blockbuster video. it came with everything and it was $15, but with the added tax i had to ask my mom for some extra change. the game was originally a rental-only exclusive and it should've stayed that way, because the game felt so sluggish and was painful to play after a long while. i think i got bored before even beating the game on 1 player!

I think that version is actually worth a lot of money now, being a Blockbuster only title.
