I know, I know. If there's one type of music that didn't exactly age well, it's certainly this one. JNCO jeans, wallet chains, etc., it was all there. But if you were like me and were a teenager during its peak, no matter how bad it may be, it'll always be a guilty pleasure.

Here's my top ten. I acknowledge that most of these aren't exactly great albums, but for me, they hold the most nostalgic value:

10. Kittie - Oracle
9. Deftones - Around the Fur
8. Korn - Korn
7. Limp Bizkit - Significant Other
6. Sevendust - Home
5. Cold - 13 Ways to Bleed Onstage
4. Nothingface - Violence
3. Slipknot - Slipknot
2. Korn - Follow the Leader
1. System of a Down - Toxicity

I had one album from Korn. Though I can't say I really liked it much. Do albums from Powerman 5000 count? I had one of those also. I didn't really care a great deal for this type of music, though occasionally there were some good songs to be found on them. Silverchair was another I believe. And which group was it that had the song that had a verse with "...here comes tha rooster..."?

You love this signature.
Mr Magic
I was into metal a bit in high school. Not so much anymore. At the time, I was listening to bands like Slipknot and Korn.

I would say Powerman 5000 definitely counts. Silverchair was more 'post-grunge' or whatever label they give those bands.

'Rooster' is by Alice in Chains.

I'd say some early Linkin Park. Songs like "One Step Closer" and "Crawling".
