RetroDaze - Thread | Bases Loaded

My history with Bases Loaded is deep. Since I first played it on my NES, I was, and remain, hooked. My friends and I would hold all-out battles for supremacy of the league.

Names like Paste, Star, Oko, and Fendy resonate even today.

I have audio tapes from the 80's of my friends and I do commentary whilst whipping up on each other in classic battles for the ages.

But among all the talented folks on those rosters, no two created a more heated rivalry than Star and Oko.

I was a Philadelphia man. My friend Phil, he was a New York guy. And when we faced each other with those teams, it boiled down to which of the two power hitters could out-bomb the other.

So, a toast to Bases Loaded. The greatest baseball video game ever made.
