Does anyone have an appreciation for Enya's old music?



I was introduced to her music in 1997 when my 5th grade teacher played a Pure Moods compilation CD featuring one of her songs. It's made a positive effect on my life.

I really enjoy Enya. As a kid my parents would blast Deep Forest on our Bose system.

I don't she really wanted to be famous. She just wanted to write music.

Was her material something like Enigma?

I'm not familiar with Enigma's music.

Well, there was a great deal of Native American influence in their music. A lot of "ritual" sounding vocals going on along with pop/synth beats.

There's a lot of heart and harmony in Enya's music and lyrics. Here is a favorite among fans including myself:

There's a duo who specialize in this kind of music called "2002". They're pretty good.
