Mr Magic
Mine was named after the 1994 movie.

"Magic can happen to you."

Vaporman87
Mine began as Mr. Vapor on the now defunct X-Band Network for the SNES. After signing up on numerous sites that would not allow two word usernames, I switched to Vaporman. The 87 was added when some sites started requiring usernames with numbers in them. (87 being the jersey number I used frequently in the EA Sports NHL games for my custom player over the years).

Mine came from playing Super Smash Bros Melee. I would usually play as Luigi, and I would use his blue color scheme.

Caps 2.0
I came up with the name Caps 2.0 this way. I originally registered with RetroJunk under the name Captain Caps (My name on the Toonzone Forums). I lost my password information for that username, so in April of 2006, I re-registered with RetroJunk under the name Caps 2.0...And the rest is history.

How was X Band? I read about it before and it seemed like a cool concept and obviously way ahead of its time.

Also, my username is my first initial followed by the name of my childhood cat. Originally it was just made up for my email, then when I found RetroJunk I was in such a rush to sign up I just chose that name. Would have definitely changed it if I would have known RJ would have consumed my young adult life at the time. Now I just keep it for familiarity.

oh. I always thought of your name as "Very Kool, IMO".

Mine, also invented in haste when registering for another site, is simply a permutation of the name of the very best fast food chain in the world:

It was great fun, once you were able to get past the lag issues and kind of work around the flaws that were to be expected from something so new to consoles. It was such a different experience to trash talk with some guy halfway across the country prior to squaring off in a fighting game or a sports title. It was fun.
