I couldn't see a thread for this, so why not create one?
This is where you can share your memories of Thanksgiving or post about old Thanksgiving TV specials, movies....
Maybe the mods might do for Thanksgiving in November what they are doing for Halloween in October?

I remember when they used to do Nicktoon marathons before and during Thanksgiving, but they stopped.

I also remember going to my grandmother's house a lot as a kid, and just being with her and the family for Thanksgiving. It was always a long drive, but it was worth it to be together.

I have clearer memories of Thanksgivings past than I do Halloweens and Trick-or-Treating.
Some I can think of at the moment... We usually ate Thanksgiving dinner at the "Dining Room" table instead of the kitchen table, and mom would break out the fine china from the massive curio in there. I remember anxiously anticipating A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving coming on the television after Thanksgiving dinner. I remember anxiously anticipating a MST3K marathon after one particular Thanksgiving dinner. I remember the smell of the food, then seating arrangements, lots of small details like that. And that I dislike cranberry sauce. Nowadays, Thanksgiving is great. We eat together, and then I desperately try to find a way to get the Macy's Parade on the television without access to cable tv, satellite, or basic antenna. LOL You love this signature.

It always tickles me to see how serious those people are about dogs.

The Macy's parade is always fun to watch.

I love the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. But it's very difficult to find a place online that streams it live each year.
If I can find a live stream, I can hook up the laptop to my tv and watch it that way. This year though, I may go with shakin steak's suggestion of a mounted antenna with enough power to hopefully haul in the signal. You love this signature.
