Something tells me I should've stayed away from the "Saddest time of adulthood." thread.

As long as they're not causing any problems with other users, they're not really a concern. If they're making alts just to agree with themselves...well let's just be grateful they're on a web forum and not our neighbor.

The threads were back in 2006 and made by "Donnie Darko", who got banned for decadeology sometime in the summer of 2006. Even though these posts are almost 10 years old, they could probably still leave behind evidence for the "Was (insert year) more like (a year from the '80s or '90s) or (a year from the late '00s or '10s)" craze.

Donnie Darko was a decade-ist account that showed up on RJ right around the time orangejuice got banned. I think it's clear who's who.

I never heard of inthe00s before, but I applaud their policy regarding this behavior.
