I saw some kind of TV movie of Carrie on Encore several months ago. It's a bit different from the 70s film.

I'm not a big fan of horror movies, so personally, I could care less, but it is possible that it is a good movie. Who knows?

I'm not a fan of remakes, re-imaginings, reboots, or any other "re" film. But, occasionally, one comes along that does the original justice. Very rarely though.

I think these remakes, re-imaginings and stuff are signs that the movie industry is slowly fading.
Although, the recent production of Les Miserables did extremely well, so no one can say that failed. "Magic can happen to you."

Carrie is a timeless 70s classic, and I would hate for this to fail.

This remake (Or reimagining.) isn't really that bad. It stays true to the original.
