I saw some kind of TV movie of Carrie on Encore several months ago. It's a bit different from the 70s film.

I'm not a fan of remakes, re-imaginings, reboots, or any other "re" film. But, occasionally, one comes along that does the original justice. Very rarely though.

I think these remakes, re-imaginings and stuff are signs that the movie industry is slowly fading.

Although, the recent production of Les Miserables did extremely well, so no one can say that failed.
