I was not aware of the time period the show is set in. That piques my interest!

Well, my significant other informed me that the show was funny and she liked it. So... I'm gonna give it a shot.

Actually, the Pilot was on Hulu for a week or two prior to the premiere. I also watched the Pilot before it's premiere.

I remember reading a few years ago that there was development about a TV series that was going to be like "The Wonder Years", but takes place in the 80s. I wonder if this was the show they were referring to.

This show feels very much like that. Like a "Wonder Years" for the 80's, with a bit of "Married With Children" thrown in for good measure.

There's supposed to be some actual events on this show.

Events as in like, references to the Reagan assassination attempt, or Iran/Contra, or New Coke? All travesties.

All I know is it's supposed to be based on Adam F. Goldberg's real life family.

In tonight's episode, young Adam sees Poltergeist at the movie theater, and it scares the daylights outta him.
