I remember being so addicted to this movie when it was released on VHS. I just couldn't stop watching it! I even remember having a couple of Disney Adventures issues talking about The Lion King.

i didn't get it on home video until around '98 after my sister moved away. i remember during some of my sick days from middle school and high school that i'd watch this to pass the time. my mom enjoyed watching it with me but my stepdad not so much. mufasa's death still gets to me though

I remember going and seeing this in theaters... I fell asleep halfway through it.
Having said that, when I got the VHS, I wore the thing out from watching it too much. |

Lion King was good, but I can't say I thought so much of it to watch it a great many times.
Now The Sword in the Stone, that's another matter. You love this signature.

I watch it in the theaters and liked it, but can't say I was a big fan of it.

Simba's Pride was a pretty good sequel and The Lion King 1/2 has its moments.
