RetroDaze - Thread | Aeon Flux (MTV toon)

Remember this weird as hell yet unique adult animated sci-fi action thriller series? it was made by the designer of COPS (the toon) and the first 2 seasons of the original Ninja Turtles toon Peter Chung. It's kind of like Judge Dredd comics, Brazil (the movie), Blade Runner, Heavy Metal (the movie and magazine)

It started as a series of shorts on Liquid TV from 1992 to 1994 then in 1995 it had a short lived animated spin-off series. I watched the shorts when i was 10 to 12 and i was 13 watching/taping every episode of the spin-off show.

This had nice designs, surrealism and complex stories.

I felt like the live action film didn't really live up to the surreal feel of the animated series. It felt more like yet another female action hero flick (like Lara Croft, Resident Evil, etc.) Quote Disable Sigs You love this signature.
