It's a toss up between the second Road Rash for the Genesis and the 3DO Road Rash. I loved both equally, and had as much fun playing them both. I miss this series.

You just absolutely HAVE to love that intro (at 3:10) with Soundgarden playing in the background. It was a great way to get the player amped up for the game.

I also like how the bikers are racing each other and dodging the cops in the intro.

i had the pc version of road rash at one point, but for whatever reason it made my cd drive go ballistic. like it would make this loud hum that i'd never heard before when having a cd inside. the cd looked fine and everything, i just didn't understand why it made my cd drive do that...

I think I've had that problem when playing The Sims.

It makes me wonder if there are variations in cd size/thickness that cause such things.

I like both!!!
Both are good. But than of course the Sony PS1 had the FMV cut scenes which was also cool. If i really had to pick i will pick the Sega Genesis. You can never go wrong with a 16-bit Sega Genesis....

For some reason, I'm kind of surprised people here are familiar with this game.

Besides the point that the game was borrowed, I played the PlayStation version pictured above (well, I had the PC version). That game was soo addicting. The music and game play at the time was awesome.

Don't you just hate it when you get knocked off your bike and you have to regain the lead you worked so hard for?
