I notice a lot of shows that pair well. Some have done so intentionally. Others are not, and simply products of the time. And others are an original and a ripoff (or two or three). Here are some pairs; some would be good for TV 'double features' while others are more like competitive. Tell which of these you prefer, or suggest your own pairs (or triplets).
Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie
I Love Lucy or The Honeymooners
The Munsters or The Addams Family
The Brady Bunch or The Dick Van Dyke Show
The Six Million Dollar Man or The Bionic Woman
Charlie's Angels or The A-Team
The Late Show or The Tonight Show
Milton Berle or Burns & Allen
Route 66 or 77 Sunset Strip

Was there a series comparable to Three's Company? I can't think of any off the top of my head.
I would say: Bewitched The Honeymooners The Munsters The Brady Bunch The Six Million Dollar Man The A-Team The Late Show (but not these days, only in the 80's) Never seen either show Never seen either show How about Miami Vice or In The Heat of The Night? Or Matlock vs. Murder She Wrote vs. Perry Mason? You love this signature.

My mom watched Murder She Wrote religiously but I don't remember much about it. And I've never seen Matlock. vkimo wrote : Home Improvement, though I think they're both terrible shows Married With Children or Roseanne, I can't decide (both great) Never watched 90210 or Melrose Place, but I remember when they were on, good match. thecrow174 wrote : Adam-12! |
