Mr. Magic:

I love KISS. I have Destroyer on vinyl. Here is a picture of it:

Nice!

All I have is the CD.

and now for something completely different.

1960 was a very long time ago and the pace of life was quite different. The release of Alfred Hitchcock's "Psyco" that year caused a national sensation that seemed to spread years after it's theater run. Because the conversation about Psycho never really ended, the impact of the movie's first television airing in 1967 reignited the sensation even beyond it's 1960 theater release.

The entire movie is Retro Gold, but Vera Miles is in my favorite scene.

"Ree, ree, ree, ree!!!"

My impression of the violin screeching noise when the shower scene starts getting real scary XD

Psycho made histroy when it became the first ever slasher film, paving the way for other great slasher names like Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nigthmare on Elm Street and Child's Play.

It took me a long, long time to figure this out, but Janet Leigh was in Halloween H20 with her daughter Jamie Lee Curtis. I can't believe I never knew that! Anyway, if you'll listen closely, you can hear the theme from the movie in this scene and I think that was the same car used in Psycho! Talk about an homage!

Got Milk?

Well, do ya? In the late 90s and afterwards, the Got Milk craze was everywhere. There were commercials and magazine ads encouraging everyone to drink their milk. Famous faces have been seen in those ads with their milk mustaches such as:

Minnesota Timberwolves great Kevin Garnett

Tony Hawk

Garfield

And Super Mario.

If there ever was a Retro Hall of Fame, the Got Milk fad would truly earn a spot in it. So, what do ya say? Got Milk? You don't? Well, go get some lol

WOW!!!

Now that's what I call Awesome, MM. That's a lot of retro history packed into that one video clip.

It's the strangest thing that the Halloween series gets me thinking about the Tarzan series from the 1940's.

Let's see if you can handle heights in the Big Apple!

Wow, that was nerve-racking! As nerve- racking as watching Harold Lloyd climb the clock tower!

It's been a long time since I've posted this one, MM.

In 2001, an all-star cast came together at WNET-New York, to narrate one of the most incredible television specials I've ever seen.

What did Jesus look like?
