As some of you know, we lost a member from our ranks, and many in our "nostalgia" community lost a friend.

Jason Gross (known here as SockofFleagulls) was a husband, father, friend, and a giant in our niche. He was generous and kind, and brought joy to many.

He is survived by his wife and 3 children.

We will miss you man.

He had a heart attack. Very sudden. 

Still recall seeing him during the last few good years of RetroJunk, I believe he commented on a couple of my articles back then. It's always a bitter feeling from the passing of those important to us.

I'm shocked by this news. Jason's death happened while I was recovering from the news of a main-office co-worker's sudden death. My condolences to Jason's family and to all of his Retro-Daze friends.
