It looks like the monsterverse will continue as it has been announced that we'll be getting another Godzill and King Kong crossover movie slated to be released less than a year from now.

Well that was unexpected, but kind of awesome. Who would have thought a villian for the two kings would come from the Kong side of things. I'm interested in this.

Looks like it might be cool. I really liked Skull Island and the first new Godzilla (which everyone seems to have thought was boring I guess?). But I skipped Godzilla vs Kong because King of the Monsters lost me at the end. It was really good in the first third, but by the end it's like the studio ran out of money and the special effects for the final battle looked like a Syfy channel movie.

But if they're going to keep the series going I guess I should get caught up.

I'm 100% down for more Monster Verse movies! King Kong (1933) is one of my favorite movies of all-time.

It looks like we have an Orangutuan villain (at least one of the villains). My money would be on Space Godzilla as the main foe, maybe he came down on the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs and is lying dormant in the center of the Earth.

Space Godzilla would also explain Godzilla's otherworldy energy since they changed his origin.

I would like seeing Space Godzilla, but I feel like he's unlikely to show up. He's a bit of an oddball character, like Gigan and Megalon.

1998 was the "early warning" that something was going wrong in the world of entertainment.

How do you mess-up "Lost in Space" and "Godzilla" in the same year?

As a result, I never became a fan of the SatAM cartoon: Godzilla: The Series.
