Hope everyone is staying warm during this Christmas weekend cold front/storm. It's dropped to below 0 here in R-town, with a little bit of accumulation of snow. Enough to make the roads a little less safe, but not too bad.

Hope you all have a retro-tastic holiday! New Year's Eve is on the way, and with it the Twilight Zone Marathon (which admittedly has long been my favorite part of the holiday). 



One thing I don't miss from being a kid: everyone saying "See you next year" as we left school for Christmas break, thinking it was super clever. (My apologies if you were one of those kids).

I hope everybody had a nice holiday. Yesterday was the first Thursday in three weeks that I was able to drive myself in to work. The past two we had bad storms.

Be thankful you don't live in Buffalo, Rick. Not the best place to drive right now.

with the year coming to a close i noticed it's been warming up where i'm at. surprisingly no snowfall happened, but i did get some frost on the porch and car windows.

You know, for the past few years or so, we've been saying things like "Is 2020 over yet?" "I won't miss 2021" "Why won't 2022 just hurry up and die?"

Will we be saying things like that in 2023?

2022 wasn't as bad for me as compared to the years that came before it. The first half was a little rocky in regards to certain things, but the second half went pretty well for me.

I don't know what 2023 will bring, but things are looking up at the moment.

2022 was a pretty good year. No significant loss or major negatives. On the plus side, the novel FINALLY came out. While it won't be a major, memorable year, it was a good, steady one.

It has been warm here the past several days. My driveway that was completely a sheet of ice a week ago is now back to fully stone and all the snow has melted. Amazing how quickly things can change in winter. 

Any resolutions for 2023?
